TOEFL
This course aims to help students acquire the skills necessary to obtain high scores on the new internet-based TOEFL test. TOEFL, which stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language, is internationally recognized by universities and businesses as test that measures English proficiency. US colleges and universities require high TOEFL scores for admission of international students.
The course offers a comprehensive introduction to the TOEFL iBT test organized into the four main skill areas: Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing. Each section includes review on the key test-taking skills, strategies and techniques, test format, and sample contents. It also incorporates the latest materials to prepare students and improve their scores on the TOEFL iBT exam. Students are provided with practice tests and timed exercises to help students gain confidence and do well on the real test. Certificates are awarded at the successful completion of the course.
